She paints in a studio with Lake Ontario to the North and cornfields to the South.  Her works are emotional responses to her life as a mother, a woman and her environment, to which she can authentically speak.  She is primarily an oil painter who seduces you with color and then holds your interest with line and its mysteries. At a time when communication is often digital and distant, she taps into something visceral, something everyone experiences and reacts to- the physicality of the human touch of the marks on canvas. Her most recent works intent is to give a place of sanctuary that lets the eye wander and the mind wonder.
